Lego Creations
Many of our students in Turama love creating with Lego. Here are two designs from the past week.
House Programme
Students took part in in a Technology Challenge where they had to build a bridge that could take a 750g weight. Their only materials were newspaper, two magazines, string and tape.

Congratulations Aiden!
A HUGE congratulations to Aiden for achieving 3rd place in the National Judo tournament up in Auckland last week! We are very proud of you Aiden!

The Sand Truck Arrived!
On Friday there was GREAT excitement when a truck arrived full of sand for our sandpit. Everyone gathered around to watch and then a team of students from Turama helped Grant to carry it all over to the sandpit. Great work team!
Enterprise - Making Soap and Bath Bombs
On Thursday we had a team of students busy making soap and bath bombs for Enterprise. Leah and Kiri, two of our senior students, were fantastic leaders! They took charge and made sure everyone knew the recipe and could follow the instructions correctly. We also had Leah's Mum, Tessa, helping out as well as Jamie's Mum, Abby. Our hall has never smelt so good!
Maths - Finding Patterns & Making Connections
Turama students are very good at working together to solve problems, particularly during Maths lessons. Here are some photos of students looking for patterns in a recent Maths task.
