End of Term Party

We had an awesome final day of term today! Thank you so much to our wonderful parents for sending in food for us to all share for morning tea and thanks to the parents who were able to join us. After all groups had presented their cultural inquiries this morning, we were able to enjoy playing some party games together which was such a lovely way to finish off.  What an awesome term it has been! Have an amazing holiday everyone and we look forward to seeing you all next term.

Cultural Inquiries

For the past two weeks the Turama students have been undertaking group inquiries on different cultures around the world. There was a range of cultures chosen such as French, Australian, South African, Japanese and Spanish. As well as following our learning process of GET IT, SORT IT, USE IT, the students had to work collaboratively in their group, use research skills, make sure their presentations were in child-speak, learn to use Office 365 PowerPoint and present their findings back to the class.
